Workshop prep and logistics

In early November, Benjamin will be going to Liberia to train a “college of pastors” on checking the translations they are overseeing in 14 languages there. Please pray for:
– All those involved in planning the training, that the trainers would be prepared with just what the pastors need and be able to deliver it effectively – All the logistics of venue, plane tickets, visas, etc. The other trainer will be coming from Nigeria, it’s possible others will be coming from there as well, including my friend Rev. Ben who is also equipped to equip others. Another group is coming from Papua New Guinea to observe and take the training back to their deaf translation projects there. So there’s a lot of people moving. – The translation teams and pastors, that nothing would keep them from coming and that they’d be able to internalize what we’ll be having them practice so they can apply it to their translation projects.
When not working on the workshop prep Benjamin will continue working on translation resources, switching to Leviticus in hopes of completing that by the end of the year (more than half has been done and we’ve been finding AI very useful in speeding up the process when used carefully for things it’s actually good at). Pray for focus and wisdom on how to divide my time.
At home we’re supposed to finally get gutters this week, a much needed part of updating the house in order to avoid future foundation issues. ==============================================
