March 12: Pray with a Sudanese translation team leader who asks God to open his family’s eyes and lead them out of Islam. March 13: Pause and pray with unfoldingWord as we lift up South Asia this week. Pray for family stability and courage as Bible translators risk great persecution for their work. March 14: Pray for a volunteer using unfoldingWord’s tools to restart stalled translation projects in the Islands-Asia region. Pray for favor as he interacts with church leaders there. March 15: unfoldingWord’s Sudanese partner is aggressively reaching out to the Nuba Mountains region. Pray that God will open doors for the gospel to reach the people there. March 16: Read 1 Peter 5:6-7. Bible translators in closed countries face many anxiety-inducing challenges. Pray for their ability to trust God and “cast all their cares on him.” March 17: Please continue praying for Idris, who came to Christ through a CCBT ministry in Africa and has since led several Muslim family members to the faith. He is training to be a pastor. March 18: In Kenya, a key Bible translation leader’s wife has breast cancer. They care for several orphans. Please continue to pray for complete healing and recovery. March 19: Alliance Resource Partners is preparing for its annual giving event. In these final weeks of preparation, please pray that greater acts of generosity will inspire many hearts.

*Azeri Sign Language Project in Azerbaijan *
In Azerbaijan, where more than 85% of people follow another religion, God is bringing His Word to life for the Deaf community! The Azeri Sign Language project, in its second phase since 2023, is translating the Bible into sign language and inspiring similar initiatives around the world as their efforts are also addressing the low literacy among the 30,000 Azerbaijani Deaf.
Pastor Israil, a translation team member, shared, “I have always been the ‘book’ for people here. I was the only Bible they could ‘read’!” Now that’s changing, with five books completed and 20 more being translated into video format.
Please pray for:
– Open doors and provision for Deaf individuals who wish to join the translation team, enabling them to overcome the barriers they encounter. – Continued unity, strength and resources for the team to effectively bring God’s Word to as many people as possible.
Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you. — 2 Thessalonians 3:1b (NLT) ==============================================
