Feb 12: The Strategic Language Resources team (this is Benjamin’s team) continues ramping up the use of AI in Book Package (translation guide) development. Pray for wisdom as they proceed. Feb 13: Pray for our Sudanese partner’s eleven trauma/ evangelism/church- planting teams who, although displaced themselves, continue to minister to their people. Feb 14: Join unfoldingWord in praying for Latin American partners today. Pray for God’s favor and blessing on growing partnerships that cross national borders. Feb 15: Pray for our CCBT (Church-centric Bible translation) partner, the Bible Society of Jordan. Ask for courage, protection, and the ability to communicate God’s Word accurately and winsomely. Feb 16: Read 1 Peter 4:12-13. Pray that the faith of CCBT translators is not shaken when they are persecuted but that they would be able to rejoice in anticipation of the glory of God. Feb 17: A collaborative project between unfoldingWord, BiblioNexus, and our Islands Asia and Latin American partners has enormous potential. Pray for success. Feb 18: Please continue to pray for unfoldingWord’s financial health. By God’s grace, the 2024 end-of-the-year giving was very good. Pray for the fulfillment of all goals.

*Tuzweyo Twake Cluster Project in Uganda*
The Tuzweyo Twake Cluster project, a collaborative effort with SIL Uganda, initiated nine Bible translation projects in multiple language communities in Uganda. The goals of the project are to translate God’s Word and dub the “JESUS” film into these languages, partnering with local churches to meet their Scripture needs.
Please pray for:
– God to transform lives in the Lukenye, Lukono, Lulamogi, Lusiginyi/Lusiki, Rushaana and Ik/Teuso communities through the Scripture portions completed through oral Bible translation during a recent workshop. – Medication and other resources for mass testing and treatment of bilharzia infections among the Jonam community living along the river. – Restoration of food production and recovery from the recent flooding in the Jonam community. – Provision and encouragement for the translation team as they seek to do what God has set before them.
